擺脫輝達獨霸？ 6大科技巨頭群起自研AI晶片

微軟、OpenAI、特斯拉、谷歌、亞馬遜、Meta 六大科技公司正在研發自家的AI晶片，預計會與輝達(Nvidia)的旗艦級微處理器H100 GPU競爭，且可能有助於降低成本及減少對輝達AI晶片的依賴。
影響分析
自Nvidia進入AI域並取得主導權後，其競爭對手無不加快研發的步調，除了上述提及的六家公司外，高通、Intel、AMD、聯發科等晶片大廠亦相當積極發展自主化技術，希望能在快速成長的AI晶片領域分一杯羹。雖然對於誰能突破Nvidia獨霸的競爭格局現階段還很難說，但可以確定的是，在市場規模持續放大後，未來能提供人工智慧晶片方案且性能符合市場需求的將不會只有一家公司。
從另一個角度來看，當能提供人工智慧晶片的公司愈來愈多，代表人工智慧的應用將隨著原本專注於不同領域的公司開枝散葉，從原本的通訊與運算擴大至車用、工業、消費等領域，人工智慧雖然只是演算法，但其高強度的運算需求將為晶片以及系統產品帶來規格上的升級。
就台灣PCB業者而言，系統規格的升級將是帶動產值提升的關鍵，尤其在智慧手機以及5G動能逐步減弱後，未來幾年或許AI有機會接棒，其帶動效應將如同5G發展初期般，從晶片到整個系統再度為產品提供推動高值化發展的動能。
