於2022年11月推出的AI聊天機器人ChatGPT，上線兩個月，使用者數量即突破1億。爆紅後，科技巨擘間的AI大戰隨之白熱化，谷歌、微軟、蘋果、百度等科技大咖相繼參戰。
影響分析
ChatGPT是由OpenAI開發的一個人工智慧聊天機器人程式，能夠以「自然對話」方式與使用者互動，包括自動文字生成、自動問答、自動摘要等在內的多種任務，應用在簡易的程式編碼、文件撰寫、校稿、翻譯等工作事項上可有效地節省時間。不過也出現熱議與質疑，包括易出現演算法偏見、語意不明的拼貼文字等問題，但更大的擔憂是恐將影響對知識工作者的需求。
與此同時，全球科技巨擘也認為AI技術可能已到了發展轉折點，將會重塑未來科技樣貌，如微軟已率先推出結合ChatGPT與Bing的新版搜尋引擎，以及Edge瀏覽器的AI服務，而谷歌、百度、蘋果也正準備推出相關AI應用計畫，搶奪接下來的科技話語權。未來除對軟體、人才需求外，對龐大算力的硬體建設需求預期也將有新一波成長，其中包括了AI晶片、數據中心與雲端伺服器等，如ChatGPT因算力需求激增已導入至少1萬顆高階GPU，MIC也預測今年伺服器出貨量將以5.1%的速度持續成長。因此與之相應的ABF載板、HLC與HDI等電路板產品也將會有新動能挹注。
