【產業動態】台積電將於 2023 年開始運營零廢製造中心

日前，據DIGITIMES報道，台積電歐亞業務資深副總經理何麗梅（Lora Ho）稱，台積電計劃於2023年在台灣中部的台中開始運營其首個零廢製造中心。
何麗梅表示，台積電還希望在其主要晶圓廠所在地的新竹科學園（HSP）和台灣南部科學園（STSP）建立零廢製造中心。這些舉措是該代工廠致力於台灣綠色製造發展的一部分。
何麗梅說，台積電主要有三個排放源。其中有62%來自電力使用，供應鏈產出佔24%，以及台積電的直接生產佔14%。
何麗梅還表示，台積電期望首先在2030年前將排放量減少到2020年的水平，並在2050年前消除所有的碳排放。（新聞來源：集微網）
