Apple's PCB supplier, Unitech, announced on the 9th that its monthly revenue is NT$792 million, a monthly increase of 16.2% and a year-on-year decrease of 58.6%. Unitech noted that it would strive to get out of the bottom, given the prospect for operations in the third quarter. With contributions from applications of new products such as earphones and mobile phones, there remains a booming atmosphere from peak season. As for the needs of automotive electronics, there is still much to be observed from the subsequent developments in European and American markets.

        For the factory relocation of Shanghai Unitech, all related equipment has completed its transfers, whereas the manpower is also ahead of schedule. As such, the progress is moving faster than expected. Unitech is planning to put forth the application regarding the subsequent compensation for the final phase under the relocation procedure in the third quarter.
