【產業動態】臺灣：十年內就要佈局6G

臺灣行政院科技會報辦公室執行秘書蔡志宏表示，臺灣現在發展5G，十年內、也就是2030年就會面臨6G來臨，所以6G必須在十年內就要佈局。
因5G頻譜特性關係，臺灣政府決定補貼5G網路基礎建設，預期5G涵蓋及資費，幾年內將與4G一模一樣 。
蔡志宏表示，5G是全新的戰場，不是4G的延伸，下半年5G發展就會對全台經濟有所貢獻。5G會在消費端及企業端帶動很多創新應用服務，在消費端，5G為影音產業帶動更多高畫質線上演唱會、手機遊戲等都會有更新的體驗，而垂直場域應用會有兩種發展模式，一種是專頻蓋專網，大型石化等企業規模夠大就會考慮採用，另一種是中小型企業，因自建專網不見得有利，就會由電信公司透過網路切片等方式，提供給中小企業虛擬專網。
臺灣政府正全力邀請企業參與催生全新5G生態鏈，預計臺灣文化部投入故宮建設5G場域，交通領域則包括5G在既有運輸系統、自駕巴士等，半導體、電子業、石化業龍頭都已相繼投入5G垂直場域。(新聞來源:工商時報)
