【國際資訊】疫情衝擊特斯拉 半數員工放無薪假

知情人士透露，美國電動車大廠特斯拉（Tesla）旗下約半數美國銷售和交車人員將被迫放無薪假。分析師預測，新冠肺炎疫情將導致今年全球電動車銷量銳減43%。財經網站CNBC引述消息人士報導，特斯拉主管近日向員工表示，將對半數左右的美國銷售和交車人員實施無薪假措施。
特斯拉4月7日致函員工，宣佈幾乎所有時薪員工都須放無薪假，並對正職員工予以減薪。隨著疫情蔓延，執行長馬斯克不得已下令加州工廠暫時停工，並預定在5月4日恢復正常生產，但未透露同日是否重啟非關鍵業務。員工透露，特斯拉根據職等和年資來決定放無薪假的銷售和交車人員，基層員工或每季銷售業績較低的人員都須放無薪假。即使是職等較高的銷售和交車人員，年資不滿兩年者也在無薪假名單上。
一名被迫放無薪假的員工表示，有鑒於特斯拉在2019年初開始降低成本、關閉實體門市，員工擔憂無薪假是否會演變成裁員。不過，他們仍相信，疫情一旦獲控制，員工仍會重返工作崗位。疫情正迫使汽車經銷商從展示中心轉戰線上，但疫情將使電動車銷售面臨格外嚴峻的挑戰，油市的不確定性和價格戰更讓市況雪上加霜。
能源顧問業者Wood Mackenzie最新估計，今年全球電動車銷量將驟降43%至130萬輛，不如去年的220萬輛。(新聞來源：經濟日報)
