【產業動態】蘋果攻摺疊機 申請新專利

繼三星、華為揮軍摺疊手機市場後，蘋果近期也加速佈局腳步，日前再度向美國專利商標局申請摺疊機相關新專利，內容提及未來蘋果裝置可透過類似磁吸方式，不必透過鉸鏈，就能實現二台裝置同步運作及摺疊應用。台系軸承廠過去大多量產筆電用軸承，如今轉向手機用軸承，在耐用度、可靠性的挑戰不小，所幸業者歷經許多技術磨合及研發後，目前包括新日興、兆利等軸承廠均已成功跨足摺疊機領域，並已有量產能力，待摺疊機市場擴大後，相關業者可望搭上這波商機。
根據蘋果專利內容描述，此一摺疊技術使用兩個完全獨立的螢幕，展開時可作為一個顯示器使用，電子設備可使用感測器測量和其他訊息檢測，第一設備邊緣何時與第二電子設備邊緣相鄰，屆時就能同步運作。此外，在聯合操作模式下，圖像可跨設備螢幕顯示，各設備揚聲器可用於播放不同通道的音樂，在不同設備中的相機和感測器也可同步使用，並共用其他資源。業界人士指出，蘋果此一摺疊新專利跟過往提出的專利有很大差異性，過去通常針對單一設備，本次新專利針對二個以上設備，但同樣都是針對摺疊應用做的專利堡壘，未來最終產品會如何呈現，仍是未知數。(新聞來源：聯合新聞網)
