聯發科5G晶片 傳下周亮相

手機晶片廠聯發科（2454）近日在官方微博預告，「5G與AI，5月見！」同時已通知下周舉行電腦展記者會，預計將展出在5G及AI的最新技術。外界推測聯發科可能於下周揭露首款5G處理器晶片的開發進度。
聯發科對於上述外界推估的產品發表進度，不予評論。目前強打的產品是4G晶片P90，並強調其AI效能，可預期5G晶片也不會缺少AI功能助攻。對於自家5G產品的定位，聯發科執行長蔡力行日前提到，該公司5G系統單晶片的定位一定是在中高階，除了符合5G標準之外，應用規格也達中高階以上。
聯發科先前已公布過5G數據機晶片M70，並規畫今年底將推出首款整合M70的5G系統單晶片，具備高傳輸速度與低功耗，預計明年上半年可看到相關終端產品。另外，M70是支援Sub-6 GHz頻段應用，聯發科也投入開發毫米波相關產品，預計在2020年推出相關產品。
聯發科希望擠進5G前段班，同時也不會捨棄4G市場，該公司的策略是希望穩固4G市占率與獲利率，也掌握5G起跑點商機。(新聞來源:udn聯合新聞網)
