【國際】英特爾擴建奧勒岡州廠供生產7奈米芯片 投產要再兩年

奧勒岡州人報（Oregonian）報導，英特爾（Intel）計劃擴建在奧勒岡州的D1X廠，未來幾年內可望開始生產7奈米芯片。該報引述未具名的營造業消息人士指出，英特爾已公開談論這項擴廠方案，預料擴廠案為期至少18個月，接下來安裝設備再花幾個月。
英特爾負責製造的資深副總裁Ann Kelleher去年12月曾經宣布，英特爾正在「初步規畫階段」，打算在奧勒岡州、愛爾蘭、以色列等地工廠擴產。他也表示，今年起預料會展開多年的建設。
奧勒岡州人報說，D1X廠將由目前的220萬平方呎（20萬平方公尺），再擴增開闢另110萬平方呎，新廠區將用來生產7奈米芯片。 (新聞來源：經濟日報)
