【台灣】華碩鎖定Chromebook戰場 全年挑戰100萬台大關

華碩2019年初全面奮發再起，繼手機事業將聚焦電競與高效能市場後，出貨已逾5年呈現下滑的筆記型計算機(NB)，目標策略也持續調整，鎖定市場需求保持增長動能的電競與Chromebook戰場。
據了解，以Nexus 7系列與Google建立良好合作關係的華碩，近期在Google加碼奧援下，2019年上半由和碩、廣達代工的Chromebook大軍火力全開，教育、消費機種將陸續開賣，期能後發先至，突破惠普(HP)、戴爾(Dell)、宏碁與三星電子(Samsung Electronics)四強領先勢力，全年目標挑戰100萬台大關。
全球PC市況低迷，消費性機種需求不斷下滑，惟商用、電競及Chromebook機種尚能保持出貨小幅增長或持平表現，也使得此3大市場成為眾廠重兵集結戰場。
當中值得注意的是，2011年進入由微軟(Microsoft)獨占的NB市場，Chromebook初期成效並不理想，但近年在硬件規格提升，ChromeOS版本不斷強化，現更可支援Google Play，整體軟硬件整合度優化，加上價格平實，近2年出貨規模已約達1,000萬~1,200萬台實力上下，雖仍未突破全球整體NB一成市佔，但市場對其仍相當樂觀。 (新聞來源:DIGITIMES)
