華碩衝電競 縮減平板人力

華碩近日證實為強化電競事業，減少平板及電信業手機的項目，內部人力調整，並於近期啟動2019年營運計劃規劃。
據了解，華碩電競部門已完成營運策略計劃，因原先電競部門的項目較雜，將專注電競計算機營運，減少平板及電信業手機的項目，相關職位因此減少，可能釋出數十人，將由人事部門協助於內部及外部轉職。
華碩考量電競計算機產品為重要發展方向，將持續投入。手機營運將專注通路市場，減少投入電信業手機項目，電競手機目前為手機事業處重要策略項目之一，將規劃長期投入經營。
華碩耕耘智慧手機領域已逾四年，早期做為變形平板延伸，從第一代與第二代Zenfone開始以「平價精品」路線、穩健的逐國擴張而大紅大紫；但在遭遇非蘋大廠的機海與電信通路戰術壓制下，近二年氣勢不如以往，尤其在東南亞的印尼、越南、馬來西亞及中國大陸、印度市場，分別面對華為、小米及OPPO與Vivo的機海競爭，也促使華碩決議啟動策略調整。 (新聞來源：經濟日報)
