傳LGD急起直追 成蘋果OLED第二供貨商

液晶面板價格慘跌，把南韓面板廠LG Display（LGD）打到無力招架，今年股價慘跌30%。不過該公司傳出利多，據悉成功打入蘋果OLED面板供應鏈，將成為Samsung Display之外的第二供貨商。
據韓媒報導，去年蘋果發表首款OLED智能手機iPhone X，面板由Samsung Display獨家供應。今年蘋果再推兩款OLED智能手機iPhone XS、iPhone XS MAX，OLED面板需求提高。
業界消息稱，LGD第六代可撓式OLED面板，通過蘋果一系列質量測試，E6廠的兩條產線準備開始量產OLED面板。
Samsung Display是全球最大智能手機OLED供貨商，市佔率高達95%。要是LGD真的打入蘋果OLED供應鏈，將威脅Samsung Display在智能手機OLED市場的獨霸地位，並有望取得大陸廠華為、小米、Oppo等訂單。此外，蘋果也能分散供應、壓低OLED面板成本。
LGD股價未獲提振，跌至兩個月低點。 LGD 14日下跌0.74%收在20100韓圜，為7月16日以來收盤新低。 （新聞來源：精實新聞）
