經濟部：高通和解案可加強高通與台灣半導體合作

公平會8月9日在智財法院與美商高通公司達成訴訟和解，美商高通公司願意與台灣產業合作共創雙贏，經濟部今日發布新聞稿表示，全力支持公平會基於整體經濟利益與公共利益所做的努力與成果。
未來經濟部將緊密配合公平會落實美商高通公司承諾以5年期產業方案對台灣進行投資合作，包含5G合作、新市場拓展、與新創公司及大學之合作、設立台灣營運及製造工程中心等。上述合作將可讓美商高通公司和台灣半導體、資通訊產業的供應鏈加深合作關係，進而透過雙方各自的國際客戶管道，整合全球營銷資源，共同擴大國際市場佔有率。
經濟部希望藉由與美商高通公司的共同合作，帶動更多的國內外公司擴大投資台灣，透過長期穩定的合作關係，提升彼此在半導體、行動通訊及5G技術發展等方面之國際競爭力，以及台灣整體經濟利益與公共利益互利共榮。 (新聞來源: 蘋果新聞)
