高通中止收購恩智浦 未來可能面臨不少風險

美國大廠高通由於未獲中國商務部批准，宣布中止 470 億美元購併荷蘭恩智浦半導體公司交易。 TrendForce 旗下拓墣產業研究院指出，因高通主要營收來自智能型手機，受限於智能型手機市場成長動能遲滯，高通未來的營運恐將面臨不少風險。
拓墣產業研究院分析師姚嘉洋指出，鑑於智能型手機市場的成長幾乎已經是停滯的情況，儘管5G 將有機會迎來一波新的成長動能，但由於5G 所衍生的商業模式尚未明朗，即便下載速度大幅提升，短期內能否會帶動一波新的換機潮，仍需觀察電信業者的態度。
姚嘉洋分析，從高通營收表現來看，單憑智能型手機市場的現況很難支撐高通營收的成長動能，另一方面，高通近期在授權業務（QTL）方面的表現也不甚理想，也恐將影響其獲利表現。短期內高通若要突破智能型手機市場成長趨緩造成的困境，可能將從持續強化天線與射頻前端等產品線的銷售，以及擴大在物聯網與車用等相關市場的市佔率兩方面著手。
另一方面，高通中止收購恩智浦，對中國半導體產業，尤其是芯片業者來說，無疑是爭取到空間。假若此次高通成功收購恩智浦，將顯著提升高通在技術實力、方案的完整度與客戶的多元性。對於中國發展半導體，尤其是對直接與高通競爭的中國芯片業者而言，某程度上自然成為一道堅不可破的屏障。 (新聞來源: 科技新報)
