央行盯貿易戰 貨幣政策備戰

美中貿易大戰延燒，美國宣布將對價值2,000億美元（折合新台幣逾6兆元）的中國大陸商品加徵10%關稅，最快8月底生效；對此，中央銀行官員昨7月11日回應，假設美中貿易大戰走到最壞的地步，衝擊到台灣實質經濟、產出缺口擴大，台灣貨幣政策將會視情況進行調整。必要時央行可能擴大寬鬆貨幣或降息，以扶植經濟成長。
官員並強調，內部正密切關注此事發展，因為一旦演變成各國都用關稅相互抵制，進而導致全球經濟貿易活動減少、貿易量下降，就可能衝擊台灣下半年的經濟成長表現，因台灣經濟成長動能相當倚賴外需。
美國7月10日再度宣布將對另外2,000億美元大陸商品加徵進口關稅，並可能會在8月30日徵求公眾意見結束後生效，商品列表包括服裝、電視零件和冰箱等消費品以及其他高科技產品，但不包括手機等一些備受關注的產品。
央行初步檢視，目前這2,000億美元、6,000多項產品列表裡，並未包括手機終端產品，雖然納入部分機械零組件，但台廠是否會受到衝擊，還是發生轉單效應，仍有待評估。
央行官員並表示，美國對大陸的2,000億美元加徵關稅清單若正式生效，對台灣經濟的影響，確實會比先前的500億美元清單略大一些，但因為手機終端產品仍未納入，所以整體影響「還好」。 (新聞來源: 聯合新聞網)
