聯發科吃蘋果 拿到首張訂單

聯發科積極爭取蘋果訂單，傳出搶在iPhone相關芯片合作之前，將先拿下蘋果智慧音箱HomePod的WiFi客制化芯片（ASIC）訂單，成為雙方第一款合作產品，最快2019年延伸至iPhone芯片供應。加計先前已打進亞馬遜、Google、阿里等大廠智慧音箱供應鏈，聯發科拿下HomePod訂單後，將通吃亞馬遜、Google、阿里、蘋果等四大品牌智慧音箱大單。
據了解，聯發科供應HomePod的WiFi客制化芯片（ASIC），有望是該公司首款7奈米製程芯片，可能在台積電投片，若HomePod銷售熱，不僅聯發科受惠大，也將為台積電7奈米業務增添動能。
全球手機芯片龍頭高通正與大客戶蘋果大打專利授權金訴訟，合作已久的關係出現裂痕，去年市場曾傳出聯發科組成團隊爭取蘋果訂單，朝手機基頻（Modem）芯片、CDMA的IP、 WiFi客制化芯片（ASIC）和智能音箱HomaPod芯片、無線充電等五個方向卡位。 (新聞來源: 經濟日報)
