輝達發表自駕車超級處理器台積電代工

繪圖芯片大廠輝達（NVIDIA）召開全球記者會，執行長黃仁勳宣布，全球首款具自主機器學習能力的AI人工智能超級處理器DRIVE Xavier已在第1季送樣給客戶，今年內可望正式採用在NVIDIA DRIVE Pegasus人工智能運算平台，協助打造Level 5全自駕出租車。 Xavier處理器採用台積電12奈米製程生產。
黃仁勳表示，要將AI技術應用在駕駛經驗上，讓與NVIDIA在自駕車合作的超過320家企業或組織，能夠更快達成自駕車目標，而NVIDIA打造的12奈米鰭式場效晶體管（FinFET ）製程DRIVE Xavier處理器已正式送交客戶認證，持續朝向機器自動駕駛汽車的目標邁進。
黃仁勳亦看好電競市場的成長動能。 NVIDIA將與宏碁、華碩、惠普等推出全新大型遊戲顯示器（BFGDs），將65吋4K高畫質屏幕與NVIDIA G-SYNC技術和全球最先進的串流裝置NVIDIA SHIELD整合，將極致順暢的電競體驗躍升至大屏幕。 (新聞來源: 工商時報)
