恐缺貨一整年服務器DRAM大漲

受惠於人工智能及雲端運算對高效能運算的強勁需求，2018年服務器出貨量可望創下新高，也帶動服務器DRAM強勁需求，但以目前三大DRAM廠產能佈建情況來看，主流的服務器DDR4明年將缺貨一整年，南亞科直接受惠，明年上半年20奈米DDR4產能已全賣光。
DRAM價格今年漲了一整年，但2018年仍是DRAM市場大好年。由需求面來看，雖然PC市場出貨量近幾年緩步下滑，但智能型手機出貨量仍年年創下新高，而且三星明年推出的Galaxy S9將搭載6GB LPDDR4，將帶動智能型手機行動式DRAM需求大幅成長。再者，人工智能及雲端運算帶動服務器出貨，亦導致服務器DRAM持續吃緊，明年恐缺貨一整年，價格則將維持逐季上漲趨勢。
驅動服務器DRAM需求動能的要素，除了英特爾與超威新服務器平台轉換推波助瀾外，還有Google、Amazon Web Service、Facebook、Microsoft Azure在新數據中心建案上的需求。
由於內存供給吃緊態勢尚未改變，2017年整體服務器DRAM合約價將上揚近4成，明年第一季服務器DRAM合約價將再漲5～8％。在主流模塊報價方面，一線廠32GB DDR4服務器模塊將來至300美元大關，二線廠更會高於此價格水位，使得明年第一季度價格將會維持在相對高點。
