聯發科Google擴大合作

聯發科攻新興市場，12月7日宣布成為 Google最新推出 Android Oreo （Go 版本）的芯片合作夥伴，將與 Google 緊密合作，穩固入門級智慧手機市場版圖，終端產品預計明年首季上市。
由於此款芯片主攻3G新興市場，相關芯片毛利甚至比部分4G芯片高一倍，有利聯發科提升毛利率表現。聯發科積極搶進新興國家手機市場，新興市場因手機普及率仍不高，市場爆發力強，而且是全球人口數最多的區域，被譽為「超級中端市場」。
聯發科表示，將與 Google 在 Android Go 展開緊密合作，協助終端廠商加速產品上市時間，確保搭載 Android Oreo(Go 版本) 聯發科處理器智慧機運行順暢。此款芯片硬件需求條件並不高，主攻3G，並鎖定新興市場為主。 (新聞來源: 經濟日報)
