三星Micro LED 電視傳2018 年CES 亮相

蘋果（Apple Inc.）積極佈局Micro LED 屏幕，日前還傳出正在跟台積電解決瓶頸問題，而三星電子（Samsung Electronics）也不落人後，傳出打算在2018 年1 月的美國拉斯韋加斯消費性電子展（CES）上，發表一款Micro LED 電視。
ZDNet 24 日報導，三星的 Micro LED 電視屏幕將達到 150 吋，會在明年稍晚正式上市，瞄準的是家庭劇院市場。
想要製造縮小版的 LED，難度相當高。 Micro LED 屏幕使用的 LED，尺寸不到 100 微米，每顆 LED 芯片可做為一個畫素，優點是耗電量低，也不會有 OLED 的殘影（burn-in）問題。若採用塑料製基板，則會具有可撓性。智能型手機需要更加微小的 LED 芯片，因此應用上還得再等一陣子。
