確定了！富士康美國威州設廠 投資百億美元
白宮26日傍晚舉行一場關於工作機會的活動，宣佈富士康投資美國的消息，美國總統川普親自出席。白宮資深官員透過電話說明會表示，富士康將在威州設立10.5代面板廠，投資金額100億美元，創造3000個良好薪資的工作，有潛力在未來能帶動13000個工作機會。
官員指出，富士康相信川普政府的政策，包括鬆綁法規、買美國貨的原則，以及川普政府將會投資基礎建設、進行稅制改革等承諾。該官員說，富士康與郭台銘相信基於川普政府的承諾，美國不僅具有競爭力，而是在技術與先進製造業處於領先地位，這讓富士康有信心投資美國；官員並說，這將是富士康許多赴美投資案中的其中一個。
郭台銘6月下旬曾表示，赴美國投資計畫名為「飛鷹（flying eagle）」，可能佈局新智慧製造全自動化產業鏈，規模可能超過100億美元，相關計畫可能為期5年；預計7月底到8月初，再規劃定案投資產品細節。(新聞來源：聯合報)
