Kinsus Interconnect Technology Corp.’s Revenue Is Expected to Increase by 25% in Q3 and Peak in Q4; SLP Put into Mass Production in July

 

In the first half of 2017, the revenue of Kinsus Interconnect Technology Corp. (Kinsus) declined due to Apple’s pull-in absence and the weak performance of the mobile phone market in China. Kinsus initiated the pull-in in Q3 and expects to enjoy a quarterly growth of 25% and peak in Q4. The highly-anticipated SLP entered into mass production in July and is estimated to account for 10-15% of the market share this year. 

 

Looking toward Q3, in addition to the pull-in of Apple, astable growth of GPU customers is expected this year with a quarterly growth of 5-10%. Kinsus is estimated to enjoy a growth of 25% in Q3 with gross profit increasing to more than 20%. Due to the delayed and scattered pull-in of Apple, Kinsus’ revenue is expected to peak in Q4.

 

This year, the main growth momentum of Kinsus is SLP, which entered into mass production in July and whose yield rate is set at 80% within 1-2 month(s). Compared with other HDI manufacturers, the yield rate of Kinsus is likely to excel targets. This year, SLP accounts for 10-15% of Kinsus’ total revenue. Kinsus manufactures SLP in its Xing-Feng Factory. This year, Kinsus has invested more than NT$7 billion in SLP equipment and has achieved a higher gross profit margin compared to the company’s average.
