又一穿戴式裝置公司倒下？傳Jawbone正在進行破產清算程式
估值一度衝破30億美元的穿戴式裝置公司Jawbone，傳正在進行破產清算程式，共同創辦人暨執行長拉赫曼（Hosain Rahman）也傳已成立新公司Jawbone Health Hub，將推出與健康相關的軟硬體產品和服務。
根據《The Information》報導，知情人士指出，Jawbone Health Hub是一間全新且獨立的公司，股東並非來自Jawbone，但也有不少Jawbone員工跟著到新公司，且新公司開發的軟體服務將繼續支援Jawbone的裝置。不同外媒皆已向不同的消息來源證實此消息，不過Jawbone拒絕對此回應。
Jawbone以藍芽耳機起家，於2011年進入藍牙喇叭和健康追蹤裝置市場，被視為是穿戴式裝置的鼻祖。2015年，Jawbone裁員全球員工數15%，目前，Jawbone最新估值是去年初募資1.65億美元後的15億美元，僅是過去最高估值30億美元的一半。
穿戴式裝置曾一度被視為是繼電腦、手機後下一個極具發展潛力的平臺，不過，穿戴式產業近年的成長已開始衰退，且面對Fitbit、蘋果、小米等大廠吃下大部分的市占，連帶也讓該該領域市占較低的公司難以生存。(新聞來源:數位時代)
