聯發科日前表示，在今年的Google I/O開發者大會期間，推出專為智慧語音助理裝置和智慧揚聲器產品而設計的系統單晶片—MT8516，可支援Google語音助理，及Google旗下的物聯網平臺Android Things的預先認證系統化模組，將帶來更為多元且豐富的人工智慧家居體驗，而採用MT8516晶片的Google智慧語音助理裝置將於今年第4季上市。 聯發科執行副總經理暨共同營運長陳冠州表示，智慧家庭產品越來越受到市場的歡迎。聯發科技致力於讓各種聯網裝置在完全不犧牲運作效能的前提下變得更智慧、更小巧及更省電。聯發科對Android系列平臺及作業系統長期以來的緊密支援，將助於推動、擴大語音控制智慧型裝置的市場。MT8516是一個高效節能的處理器平臺，專為支援雲端服務的智慧語音助理產品而設計，具有多種連結介面，可讓音效設備及麥克風陣列處理發揮出最強性能。(新聞來源:時報資訊)
