After benefitting from mass production of TSMC’s 10-nanometer process, CHPT, the probe PCB supplier, has earned a revenue of NTD$271 million as of May 2017, which is a new record for revenue for a single month.  The total revenue of Q1 this year increased to NTD$789 million, which also sets a new record as the highest revenue in a single season.  Regarding Q2 this year, TSMC will significantly increase the wafer start of the 10-nanometer process, and therefore the corporation anticipates that CHPT will further increase its performance in Q2 compared to Q1.
As the company will continue benefiting from the upcoming mass projection of TSMC’s 10 nanometer process, the demand of PCBs wafer probe further increases on a daily basis. In Q2 this year, TSMC will more swiftly increase the wafer start of the 10-nanometer process for the mass production of the A11 processor for Apple’s iPhone8.  Thank to this, it is anticipated that CHPT’s operation performance in Q2 will further increase compared to Q1.  Following this, TSMC will actively prepare the 7-nanometer process, and will start mass production of this process at the end of this year. It is already anticipated that CHPT’s vertical probe card will pass the verification of the TSMC’s 7-nanometer process. (Source: www.investor.com.tw)
