大陸惠科轉投資面板廠

大陸惠科與重慶市政府簽訂【液晶面板第8.5代生產線專案投資協議】，惠科將投資120億元人民幣，在重慶巴南經濟園區興建一座8.5代面板廠，規劃月產能6萬片玻璃基板，預計2015年6月啟動建設，2017年第3季投產，預估量產後年產值可達到110億元人民幣。
近年來大陸面板廠營運成效亮眼，包括京東方與華星光電等都有傑出的獲利表現，使得大陸許多地方政府對於投資面板廠相當有興趣，繼京東方在重慶設立8.5代面板廠，惠科亦將投資興建8.5代廠。值得關注是，惠科過去並沒有經營面板廠的經驗，其跨界投資讓業界頗感意外。惠科主要生產液晶電視與液晶監視器等產品，不僅為同方、三洋及海爾等客戶代工，亦發展自有品牌，年銷售量突破1,000萬臺大關，然以惠科目前終端銷售規模而言，並無法提供巨大的面板出海口，該投資案後續發展備受矚目。（新聞來源：中華液晶網）
