9英寸以上大尺寸平板電腦漸成趨勢

全球平板電腦需求正逐步減弱，2014年其出貨量預計僅增長2%。根據NPD Display Search移動電腦出貨量和預測季度報告顯示，2014年全球平板電腦出貨量將為2億5,400萬台，年增長幅度少於NPD Display Search之前預測的14%。同時在更換週期的推動下，到2018年平板電腦需求量將持續以個位數增長，而螢幕平均尺寸將由2014年的8英寸擴大到2018年的9英寸。
由於電腦的更新換代，WindowsXP系統的退出，以及低價位Windows系統筆記本電腦和Chromebooks的推出，NPD Display Search預測全球筆記本市場正從數年前遭受平板電腦的重擊之下逐漸復蘇，2014年筆記本電腦出貨量將達到1億7,960萬台。（新聞來源：國際電子商情 ）
