全球最大面板廠，LGD廣州廠啟用

近日，LG顯示器公司（LGD）發布聲明表示，旗下規模最大的廣州LCD面板廠區現已開始運作；這座斥資約40億美元打造的工廠，將專攻42吋以上的面板產品，就其規模與投資金額而言堪稱世界上最大的面板廠。LGD廣州廠採用尖端玻璃切割技術，用以切割55、49與42吋面板，將供應中國主要消費電子大廠，如深圳的康佳、惠州的TCL。據悉，LGD在南京等中國城市已經擁有模組廠，在廣州面板廠區投入運作後，LGD在中國實現了從模組到面板生產的垂直整合計畫。（新聞來源：時報資訊）
