創維：參股LGD廣州專案後又與海思合推國產智慧電視晶片

2012年5月，創維集團與韓國LG Display (以下簡稱LGD公司)、廣州凱得科技發展有限公司和合資組建“樂金顯示(中國)有限公司”。投建廣州LG Display第8.5代液晶面板項目。據悉，該專案是當時廣州最大的外商投資高科技專案，總投資40億美元，主要生產8.5代2.2×2.5米規格的液晶面板，預計將於近期投產，項目產能為12萬片/月，將建成大陸技術最先進、生產規模最大、產出效益最高的液晶面板項目之一，成為廣東省加快彩電產業升級換代的重要載體。該專案也是廣東省落實國家電子資訊產業振興計畫的重要項目，填補了廣東省TFT—LCD(即平板顯示) 產業技術的空白，是廣東迅速搶佔高端電子技術領域制高點的率先之舉。
近日，創維又與海思聯合推出應用了大陸首款具有自主智慧財產權並實現量產的智慧電視晶片的GLED電視。創維集團董事、彩電事業本部總裁劉棠枝表示，這標誌著中國彩電業“缺芯少屏”時代的結束。工信部電子資訊司副司長刁石京表示，這是首款大陸自主研發並量產的智慧電視晶片，對提升大陸彩電業的核心競爭力具有里程碑意義。 (新聞來源：第一財經網)
