News Type:

The industry of printed circuit boards is proud to welcome a new recruit. Mr. Nian-Ching Wang, general manager of Symtek Automation Asia Co., Ltd(SAA),

said his company has prepared its semiconductor facility for the supply chain of IC assembly and testing plants, foreseeing a sales revenue ratio of 10% this year, which represents a twofold increase compared to last year. This is indeed the field that enjoys the fastest growth and will contribute to better revenue and operation compared to last year. The target is to soar to the revenue of NT 4 billion in 2020.

Thanks to the great demand for SLP by iPhone 8, which will be released this year, SAA forecasts major orders coming from SLP and flexible circuits and predicts PCB as the greatest income contributing factor with an estimated proportion of 50 to 60%, followed by flat panel display equipment, which constitutes 30 to 35%. As for semiconductor production, it is roughly 10% of the total revenue, which is twofold growth from last year. All these sectors together will lead to 134% of annual increase and are the sources of fastest growth.

According to Mr. Wang, because of the company’s module design and knowledge management, which allows for customized service for customers, SAA’s SBU will see a growth of 1.8 times, PBU 30%, EBU 50%, SAC 20%. The year of 2017 will be a year of great leap from 2016 for SAA, with a foreseeable target of NT 4 billion in 2020.
