Machvision has announced that its revenue in April reached NT$211 million as it continues to break new highs for a single month. In fact, Machvision has broken the historical high for a single month’s revenue for 12 consecutive months.

Machvision notes that the proportion of revenue for semiconductors and AOI 4.0 products has been enhanced in April, in addition to the flexible printed circuit (FPC) inspection products, which indicates that the five respective products have gradually been accepted on the market. In view of the PCB boom season, Machvision will focus on AOI of FPC, AOI of semiconductor, and AOI 4.0 of rigid PCB as they are comprehensively introduced with AI and Big Data, which should help promote market demands and thus ultimately enhance the drive of revenue for Machvision.

Machvision has indicated that it has already prepared a two-shift work schedule, leased a finished-product warehouse, and streamlined the assembly process to boost capacity. From the purchase of raw materials to the shipment of finished products, the cycle has been reduced from nine weeks to seven weeks in order to increase the frequency of the production cycle. These adjustments can be very helpful in significantly enhancing production capacity and should be able to handle the ordering needs of the PCB boom season.

Machvision’s revenue and profits are gradually increasing; in view of prospects for 2018, it will be a year of Big Data and AI, with epoch-making breakthroughs and improvements with regard to PCB and inspection problems for semiconductor. As a result, the expenditure of human resources with the clients should be drastically reduced. We currently find the inspection market to be relatively optimistic.
