In the third quarter, the operations of Chunghwa Precision Test Tech. Co., Ltd. (CHPT) have been booming. Benefiting from the increased shipments of mobile devices, the shipments of major customers’ 10 nm products have also gradually increased, leading to a revenue peak of NT$312 million in August, a growth of 21.8% compared to the same period last year. With this increase in customer product shipments, the revenue is expected to continue to rise in September and peak in the fourth quarter.

CHPT is optimistic about growth during the boom season in the second half of 2017. With regard to customers’ stock, the boom in the semiconductor industry is likely to approach 4:6, compared to 45:55 achieved by CHPT in previous years. Hopeful about growth in the second half of 2017, CHPT is likely to approach the industry average.

CHPT has emphasized that 10 nm products, including those of customers at home and abroad, have been put into mass production this year and that customers are now actively developing 7 nm products, which will continuously increase CHPT’s revenue. Furthermore, CHPT will maintain its future momentum based on the four driving forces promoted by wafer foundries.
        The construction of CHPT’s headquarters was commenced just a few days ago. The headquarters is expected to start operation in the third quarter of 2019. In addition to operation, research and development, and design, the headquarters will also serve as a manufacturing plant equipped with clean rooms that optimize the research and development environment.
