APCB Enjoyed Growth in Q2-Q3 and Planned on Enhancing Substrate & Any-layer HDI

APCB INC. returned to its peak last year. This year, its operations remained similar. Overall, growth was expected in Q2-Q3. APCB Thailand aimed to turn losses into profits, and APCB Taiwan and Kunshan planned to increase the proportion of products with high unit prices, such as Simple PCBs and Any-layer HDI.

Looking ahead, the operations in Q2 will have single-digit growth compared to Q1. Currently, the activation is at 70-75%; APCB Kunshan has the highest activation at 80-85%, while APCB Thailand has a slightly lower activation. The operations are estimated to hit their peak in Q3 with single-digit growth, while the growth in Q4 is expected to remain the same or slightly decline.

The production bases of APCB are in Taiwan, Kunshan, and Thailand. In recent years, APCB has focused on improving APCB Thailand. With a focus on automotive boards (30%), APCB Thailand experienced small loss last year and has not yet turned loss to profit in the first half of this year; however, with foreign exchange benefits, APCB Thailand enjoyed an overall profit in the first half of this year. APCB Thailand expects to hit its target and make a profit in the second half of this year. 

APCB Taiwan and Kunshan are quite scattered in terms of products and markets. In addition to medium-volume products, APCB Taiwan and Kunshan will continue to develop high-end products using special models due to a small production capacity and will increase the proportion of products with high unit prices, such as simple substrate and Any-layer HDI (Source: MoneyDJ - Focus News).
