East China PCB/SMT Exhibition’s Grand Opening in Suzhou, a signature cross-Strait event for the circuit industry, will be launched today on the 17^th through the 19^th at Suzhou International Expo in conjunction with eMEX Suzhou, China, featuring more than 600 exhibitors sharing 1850 booths. At the venue of 35,000 square meters, more than 30,000 professionals and experts from some 120 organizations will take part, with group tours arriving in 75 bus trips.

 

“While the industry is still in search of how to introduce green ideas to coincide with safety production requirements,” says Mr. Rick Wu, President of TPCA, in his opening remark, “TPCA has long been involved in environment efforts and reaped enormous results, including the GUIDE FOR PCB EQUIPMENT COMMUNICATION INTERFACES (PCBECI) kicking off in 2014, which promotes automatic production yield and standardized PCB communication interfaces through intelligent fields. In addition, TPCA will analyze real-time instances pertaining to work safety with experts, stressing the importance of international safety measures and PCB equipment safety guidelines. The event will also introduce the unprecedented PCB oven safety guidelines to promote quality working environment.   

 

TPCA prides on the slogan of “building green PCB and safe production” this year in hopes of providing incentives of breakthrough for the industry in East China. Given such direction, the event will feature a forum on green manufacturing & safety production, a seminar of electronics & circuits in China, a panel on PCB academic-industry cooperation, and a session for new releases. 【Innovation Sparked by Theories & Craftsmanship】

TPCA has masterminded an exchange platform for PCB academic-industry cooperation to encourage students to engage in real-time experience. It has initiated an award for excellent Chinese theses on the particular field. The session features talks and speeches by professors from Guangdong University of Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Suzhou University, Sun Yat-Sen University, in hopes of inspiring more incentives for galvanizing theories and practice. 

 

【Three Major Theme Zones: Environment, Workplace Safety, Equipment Safety for Circuit Boards】

Three major theme zones have been reserved specifically for environment concerns, workplace safety, and equipment safety as well as platforms for PCB academic-industry exchange, TPCF Environment Charity Foundation, PCB Manufacturing. Visitors may experience real-time products, be exposed to environment regulations related to PCB manufacturing, learn instances of process hazard, have access to equipment safety standards and risk evaluation guidelines, which inspire the industry to better and upgrade their equipment. The PCB Equipment Safety Standards is a set of rules initiated jointly by TPCA and safety experts and partners in the supply chain, which entails source management, advanced design, standard accessories as well as training and safety chain mechanisms, equipment program standards. The legislation allows us to introduce safety logic into processes from atop in advance, which is better than making up and auditing for mistakes afterwards. 

 

【Not Just an Event, But a Green Movement!】
